The Aircraft "SkyFreighter" The large cargo bay will allow fully assembled equipment to be transported intact from its point of fabrication to its point of final destination. This eliminates the need, as required today, to break down the equipment, ship by truck or railroad to an ocean going vessel or plane, transport to a major port and then reversed on the other end of the transportation circuit. While a plane can get the disassembled equipment from one airport to another in a day, the total time from one end of the transportation circuit to the other end is sometimes months with potential problems of lost cargo, security violations, damaged pieces, and at less overall costs. CURRENT DEMAND Millennium Airship continues to work closely with countries and companies, both foreign and domestic, concerning their interest in leasing our hybrid heavy lift aircraft. The quantity of demand is ever increasing and we are convinced that once our initial aircraft is flown the demand will increase even more. Currently, the estimated requirement for the 50-70 ton capacity hybrid heavy lift aircraft exceeds 250 and the 500 ton capacity aircraft demand is currently over 80. This demand covers cargo transportation and other missions such as: oil exploration and drilling, pipelines, mining, timber extraction, forest fire suppression, supply/re-supply of communities in isolated areas (Arctic regions), humanitarian missions (catastrophic, rebuilding devastated areas, training, and sustaining), passenger and tourism. Key Features
M i l i t a r y DARPA (Defence Advanced Research Projects
Agency) "Fort to the Fight" Unit of Action - At a
meeting organized by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, JCS J-4 Mobility Division
in April 2001 at the Pentagon, the desire for a prototype demonstration of
"SkyFreighter" was requested by all branches attending. We fully believe
this airship and it's unique capabilities will provide our Armed Forces
with a "mission" diverse transport that can get the troops, armor and
supplies to the point of conflict. And, provide Homeland Security Agency
with a smaller version of "SkyFreighter" for Extended Duration (3 days)
Maritime Coastal Patrol and Drug Interdiction. The military requires an
air vehicle that can lift 500 plus tons, cruise at 100 mph, travel 12000
miles in 7 days, and fly at altitudes up to 20,000
feet. The Millennium Airship, Inc DARPA Proposal was mailed on March
30 to DARPA. Even though the DARPA project has been cancelled for now, all branches of the
military and Homeland Security have definite requirements for this
aircraft.

Benefits
C o m m e r c i a l The commercial sector of our economy also requires an aircraft, such as the SkyFreighter, to augment the already burdened sea and air cargo business. SkyFreighter is especially adept to carrying fully assembled, outsized, and bulky cargo at speeds up to 100 mph and up to 6,000 miles unrefueled. The air vehicles will come in at least two sizes of lift capability: 50 ton and 500 ton. View Specifications The SkyFreighter fits very nicely in a niche between sea going vessels, which are much slower and can carry more tonnage, and the air craft, which are faster but limited in tonnage and size of cargo. It is anticipated the commercial prototype aircraft design will start in late summer 2007. The need for an ultra heavy lift aircraft is growing throughout the world. News and magazine articles are becoming more frequent. Currently, we are working with at least three potential large investors to obtain funds necessary to launch the design, fabrication and certification of a 50 ton lift vehicle; as well as building the necessary production facilities. | ||||
